Burger King Agrees to Tentative Deal to Become 76ers’ Minor League Affiliate

Burger-King-Overtime-Pay-Lawsuit

After scaring away the Delaware 87ers, the Philadelphia 76ers went on the hunt for a new D-League affiliate. After much speculation they determined that the best fit for them was the fast food franchise Burger King.

“Most people may laugh at this decision,” said Sixers’ owner Joshua Harris. “To them, I laugh right back.”

As Harris went onto explain, Burger King subscribes to the same basic principles as the 76ers.

“Their slogan is ‘have it your way’ and as an organization we are doing just that,” Harris said. “We also both pay our employees very little for a job nobody wants.”

Harris is right at least in terms of the latter part of his statement. Being a guard on the 76ers was voting the least desirable job in sports right after Sidney Crosby’s tampon.

Building toward a better tomorrow, we will all have to wait and see if this move is beneficial. Should things fail, Wendy’s is always available.
