Victims of the recent natural disaster taking place in some third world country with people of a darker shade than we are comfortable with here in America have donated their time and effort toward helping those in even more need: fans of the Philadelphia Flyers. A season that already appears over thanks to the terrible start, these victims are sympathizing with the plight of this current hockey team.
“We’re just doing what we can,” said one victim willing to help Flyers fans. “I lost my whole family in this natural disaster. They can be replaced. These people in Philadelphia are losing an entire hockey season. You only get one of those a year.”
Donations have been pouring in all week and Flyers fans have been sure to display their gratitude. The team itself continues to say that brighter days are ahead, but the way things are going those brights are probably headlights ready to run them over.
