The shortstop for the Philadelphia Phillies, Jimmy Rollins, led off the Halloween festivities today by popping out at a haunted house and scaring children. By all reports, the kids were prepared to walk by when Rollins popped out. Not knowing they were in for a scare, the children were noticeably upset.
“I figured it’s Halloween and everyone should ready for anything,” said Rollins who was dressed as his terrifying 2014 batting average.
In Rollins’ defense, this was probably the first time Rollins ever saw someone walk. More likely than not he was confused and a little impatient.
